* Salt N Pepa will be the halftime entertainment at the Edmonton Eskimos game tonight. Just to put it in perspective, Salt is 46, Pepa  is 47 and Spinderella, just for fun, is 41. Retro night, indeed.

* ALF IS GOING TO BE A MOVIE! Producers are using a combo of CGI graphics and live action film to put the thing together. No date has been set for a release, but that’s exciting.

* The Olympic closing ceremonies go Sunday at 5pm and there are still some rumors about who will perform. George Michael is confirmed, but the Spice Girls, Adele and One Direction are rumored to be part of the show as well.

* We’re a little slow on this train, but we finally figured out what a Honey Boo Boo is and we’re as depressed about the world about most people who know what or who that is. Honey Boo Boo is the “breakout star” from ‘Toddlers in Tiaras’ and now has her own show on TLC. One word: GROSS.
