Early jazz-fusion rock. Guitarist Larry Coryell's pioneering fusion band of the early to mid-'70s had a hard-edged sound -- penetrating and loud. A great vehicle for Coryell, their first three albums showed the most potential. The roup includes drummer Alphonse Mouzon and keyboardist Mike Mandel.
