This great early-'60s material by
Little Eva includes the hits and some lesser-known tunes as well. The album was produced by
Gerry Goffin and arranged by
Carole King, who co-wrote nine of the tunes here. The 17-year-old
Little Eva cuts loose (with vocal backing by
The Cookies) on "The Locomotion," "Some Kind of Wonderful," "Uptown," "Up on the Roof," "Get Him," and "The Trouble with Boys," among others.
