World Partnership Walk

The Aga Khan Foundation is putting on the World Partnership Walk at the Alberta Legislature Grounds Sunday June 9th at 10AM!

100% of funds raised by the World Partnership Walk go directly to fund international development projects! Since starting almost 30 years ago, the walk has raised over $75 million for international development programs and initiatives. Edmonton alone has raised over $850K last year.

Tour of Alberta

Astral Media and 104-9 Virgin Radio is very pleased to present Canada's Pro Cycling Festival, Tour of Alberta!

On September 3 - 8, 2013 the province of Alberta will host the newest professional cycling event on the international circuit - The Tour of Alberta. Over 300,000 spectators are expected over the six days of the event, from across the province, across Canada and around the world!

Anchored by a time trial start in Edmonton and a race to the finish in Calgary, Virgin Radio is proud to be cheering on all involved and participating in this extraordinary event!

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure

Since 1992, the annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure has been the largest, single-day, volunteer-led national event in support of creating a future without breast cancer.

In 2012, close to 170,000 participants raised over $30 million to fund innovative breast cancer research and education initiatives.

On Sunday, October 6, 2013 this national movement will again connect participants and volunteers in 60 communities across the country.
